Healthy Kids - Eat Smart! Play Smart!

This fall, starting September 2013, a joint effort between researchers at the UF Health Science Center, the UF/IFAS Citrus County Extension Service Office, and IFAS Extension at UF, will begin a healthy lifestyle program for young children (3 to 7 years of age), and their parents, in Citrus County.
The Healthy Kids Program is designed to help young children and their parents, improve diet, physical activity, and the home environment to promote healthy lifestyles. This no-cost program helps families work together to make gradual changes.
